Our growing client is recruiting for a key member to lead their system integration through the development of control narratives/strategies. These systems will be primarily for automotive systems including paint robots, AMR part/body delivery systems, paint body information tracking systems, paint mix systems and Andon production indication displays. You will lead projects, develop machinery safety, reviews and supervise electrical installation, manage commissioning, prepare technical documentation, ensure internal and OEM designs are compliant, and manage project timelines. You have post secondary in a related field of engineering (electrical, mechatronics, industrial), 5+ years experience in a mix of project management and/or controls and automation design, and familiarity with automation technologies (robotics, PLCs, etc.).
